Camp Overview

  1. Full-DayCamp is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM starting July 5th through August 13th.
  2. Lunch is from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM (12:00 -12:30 PM indoor lunch and 12:30-1:00 recess).
  3. There will be a 15-minute snack break during the morning/afternoon sessions.
  4. Drop off and pick up is 15-minutes before or after the camps scheduled times.
    Morning : Drop off time is from 8:45 – 9:00 AM
    Afternoon : Pick up time is from 4:00 – 4:15 PM
  1. Late pick–ups will result in a $25/per hour charge after 4:30 PM.
  2. Before Care will be available from 8 AM to 9 AM for an additional $75 a week. Please inquire if you wish to have aftercareby sending an email to info@www.idealacesports.com.
COVID-19 Guideline
  • Masks – Please ensure your kids wear their masks to camp.
  • Kids’ temperatures will be taken daily. Kids will not be allowed to participate with a temperature over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Camps will be limited to 20 kids to ensure social distancing.
  • Materials – Every camper will receive their own set of materials.
What Ideal is doing to follow COVID Guidelines
  • All staff will wear masks at all times.
  • We will have daily temperature checks and sanitization when entering the Studio.
  • There will be weekly deep cleaning & daily sanitization of the studio and materials.

3D Animation

The 3D Animation Program provides campers with an intensive, hands-on environment in which they learn the essentials of 3D animation, and gain a basic understanding of visual effects (VFX), preparing them to pursue their dreams in animation and VFX. Ideal’s faculty of professional animators and visual effects artists work with campers to help them to bring their most creative and original ideas to life, while also teaching campers a range of creative skills that can inspire them long after they leave.

Campers in the 3D Animation Program work with state-of-the-art, industry-standard 3D Maya software to build their models and apply basic animation techniques.

What will campers learn?

  • Fundamental skills of animation, including drawing, painting, storyboarding, and sculpting.

What will campers create?

  • Create original characters and environments, working through each step of a professional animation pipeline

Explore the physics of speed, acceleration, energy, and aerodynamics while campers build their own take-home RC Car. Campers will construct every aspect of an RC car in this hands-on summer camp. Once the build is complete, the race is on! Race your RC Car on a fun and competitive course designed by counselors and test different build models to see which car is the fastest! Campers will go home with their own RC Car kit.

What will campers learn?

  • The basics of RC car mechanics
  • Electrical wiring
  • Mechanical troubleshooting

What will campers create?

  • A radio-controlled car with electronic speed control and a 2.4 GHz transmitter. Perfect for racing with friends.

In our 3D Modeling Program, campers will learn the fundamentals of creating digital 3D models. With 3D modeling, campers can follow their artistic inspiration while learning how to use advanced software. The skills obtained in the program will inspire campers to potentially create art for video games, model their favorite Star Wars spaceships, introduce themselves to 3D animated movies, and so much more!

You can use 3D modeling in a wide range of careers and industries. 3D modeling courses can lead to skill development for:

  • Film and TV: 3D models form the basis for 3D animated movies and shows such as Pixar films. They also create realistic effects for live-action entertainment like Game of Thrones.
  • Game development: A large number of today’s video games use 3D models as the basis for their graphics. 3D modeling enables you to make visual assets, the building blocks of game animation.
